I might be a slow learner but I am finally getting a grasp on the nature of discount dental plans. They are an alternative to dental insurance, they are definately not insurance policies. I have dental insurance at this time, but the facility where I work will be closing and I will loose my dental insurance. I will be looking for a discount dental plan for my area and sign up when I lose my insurance.
